Imagine Cup’s First Worldwide Finals Website Design Competition Calling artists, dreamers and designers! We want to see you take a walk on your wild (and creative) side. Submit a NEW background design for the 2009 Imagine Cup Worldwide Finals Website. It’s easy and it’s a fun way to introduce the entire world to YOUR artistic talents. We are searching for a brand new look – something different, fun and exciting! The winner’s design will be used to exclusively promote the Worldwide Finals in Cairo, Egypt. This competition is open to all Imagine Cup registered students! You do not need to be signed up for an Imagine Cup competition or award to participate. Instructions: Once you have registered for this competition as a team, follow these 3 easy steps: 1. Download a template file in Photoshop format which will include the website background size requirements, Imagine Cup logo, and placeholder area for the website home page as a reference. 2. Submit your entry on the Imagine Cup website as a .zip file that contains both the background in jpg format (compression set to high quality) and the Photoshop source file. 3. Make sure the background file size used for the website is no larger than 100k, and provide the bin hex color value for the required solid background color. Note: Teams must be completely formed prior to submitting an entry. A team cannot add (or delete) a team member, after its submission is uploaded for the competition. Any outstanding team invitations will become invalid at the time a team uploads a submission or when the competition entry period ends. Deadline: All entries must be submitted between April 1, 2009 and April 30, 2009. We can’t wait to see what YOU create! And…Stay tuned! Launching later this week!
